Guruji Vid. Shree Shringeri H. S Nagaraj , today is one of the most outstanding
exponents of Carnatic Classical Music. His greatness lies in his total dedication to
the exacting genre with classical base. A fiercely un compromising purist, he is
highly imaginative with a sense of deep involvement but without losing contact
with contemporary taste and sensibilities. He has been Principal of Shree
Guruguha Sangeetha Maha Vidyalaya in Shimoga since 1977.
Today - 26th September 2009, Guruji Vid. Shree Shringeri H. S Nagaraj is
celebrating his 48th birthday; I pray to 'Sai Ram, Give him a long life, name,
fame and wish him all his dreams come true.
